Vuoden 2024 aikana tarkasteltiin kompensointivaihtoehtojen valmiusasteita. Vuoden 2025 aikana tehdään tarkempi suunnitelma niiden päästöjen kompensoimiseksi, joita ei voida vuoteen 2030 mennessä vähentää.

Official name

A plan will be established to offset the emissions that cannot be reduced by 2030. The offsetting methods to be investigates will include carbon sinks in forests, green structures,
wooden construction and technical solutions as well as purchasing carbon offset credits from
elsewhere in Finland or abroad.
