2.3.3Low-emission bus traffic

Low-emission bus traffic. On the basis of a propulsion system survey, policy guidelines will be drawn up for the low-emission conversion of bus traffic by 2030 (both TKL’s own fleet and private buses). These policy guidelines will be issued in 2020. The guidelines will also help prepare for the implementation of the relevant EU Directive. According to the directive, at least 20.5% of the traffic that starts between 2022 and 2026 must run on electricity and 20.5% on other alternative fuels. At least 29.5% of the traffic that starts between 2027 and 2030 must run on electricity and 29.5% on other alternative fuels.
