Tampere's goal is to be nature-positive by 2035. The Tampere Environmental Watch brings together the city's actions to achieve this goal and monitors their progress and impact. The measures aim to nurture biodiversity in a growing city and an increasingly dense urban structure, also outside protected areas and in the immediate vicinity of city residents.
The website is maintained by the Climate Policy and Environmental Protection Unit of the City of Tampere, and the Environmental Watch has been implemented by Kausal Oy.
