The city cooperates with many different parties, such as companies and organizations. Training and cooperation events have been organized for climate partners and the City of Tampere's subsidiary communities on taking biodiversity into account as part of sustainability work and on opportunities to cooperate in solving challenges. There has been a lot of interest, and many companies are wishing for more cooperation.
Nature and environmental organizations are happy to offer their expertise in urban planning. The city's intention is to find places where the expertise of organizations could be better utilized. For example, in the spring of 2025, several representatives of nature organizations participated as experts in the planning of the Nature for Yards guide. Nature organizations were also asked for feedback on the preliminary drafts of the Tampere Nature Reserve Programme at a presentation event organized for them. In 2022, a guide was prepared for the development of nature management and inclusion in cities in cooperation with the Wild Zone Association (the Participatory Nature Management guide, completed task of the Biodiversity Programme measure 6.2.2).
